Re: Port Hedland Small Wins Project

I am writing in support of the Pilbara Place Making Small Wins Program.

I have been involved with FORM’s Pilbara Place Making Workshops 2010 and/or community efforts for Small Wins in
Port Hedland. Inspired by world leaders in urban strategy, Charles Landry and Gilbert Rochecouste, we have generated
a wealth of ideas and momentum as a community, which has provided an exciting starting point for a community led
transformation.

The small wins process is designed to enhance a sense of place in Port Hedland, with the aim of improving liveability,
growing a connected community network and a sense of achievement through community owned events and projects.

As a community member, I am committed to making our community-led Small Wins happen. I will be contributing to
the Small Wins project to actively help achieve the ideas generated from these workshops.

The contribution of community members is vital to helping build our town into a place rich with life and opportunity.

I strongly encourage your organisation to support the community in this process, and the Small Wins that result from it.
