Cash Flow Chart :

It is a chart, wherein amounts of Planned Monthly Claim, Actual Monthly Claim,


Payment received, Planned Claim Cumulative, Actual Claim Cumulative and Advance
Payment received are stated. In this chart all these amounts are plotted on vertical axis
against time on horizontal axis for a construction project. The values of these amounts
are plotted as columns of a histogram against time. These values are moreover joined
by a S- curve.

Payment Certificate Details :

It is a statement showing details of Contractor’s Claim, Payment received and number


of early/delay days of payment received.

Contractor’s Claim include :

 Payment Application Number

 Date of submission of Payment Application

 Month of Payment Application

 Amount of Gross Cumulative Work Done (A)

 Cumulative Amount of Variation (B)

 Percentage Amount of Material at Site (C)

 Cumulative Grand Total of (A) + (B) + (C) = (D)

 Percentage of Cumulative Amount of Recovery of Advance Payment (E)

 Net Total Cumulative (D) – (E) = (F)

Payment received details include :

 Payment due date

 Payment received date

 Amount received

 Cumulative amount received

 Difference not certified

 Percentage of project completion


Details of Early/Delay days of payment received :

 Number of days early/delay due to Engineer / Consultant

 Number of days early/delay due to Employer / Owner

 Number of days delay as per Conditions of Contract
