    An informal chart going back to around February 2009, showing on a state by state basis: (1) which for-profit insurance companies were running the state's Medicaid or Medicare services; (2) if private lawsuits alleging civil rights violations in relation to Olmstead have been filed (3) known federal intervention on the state level regarding Olmstead-related violations; and most recently, Public Citizen's list of Republican Congressional candidates who overturned incumbent Democrats using outside "unregulated" funds. This information should be used as an approximation only for several reasons: 1. I have found it almost impossible to keep track of which companies have gained or lost contracts in which states. This was accurate as of about July 2010. The situation is complicated by the many names that each company does business under. 2. Federal investigations may be on-going and there is no way the public will be notified until something is officially filed.
