Scratch is a simple, free programming language that can be used to create animations, stories, games, music,
and art projects while learning about mathematical and computational ideas and design. It was created by the
Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab.
There are numerous lesson plans, ideas and tutorials for Scratch on the internet, and some include YouTube
