This document contains summaries of two student projects. The first project involves developing an employee time management system using an 8051 microcontroller, LCD display, keypad, and RTC to track employee check-in and check-out times. The second project involves creating a remote voice control and security system that uses speaker recognition for authentication and speech recognition to control equipment like motors through voice commands.

Project Title EMPLOYEE TIME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING RTC WITH DISPLAY
Technologies Used KEIL C, ORCAD/EXPRESS PCB 8051 MICROCONTROLLER ,
LCD , KEYPAD ,RTC , POWER SUPPLY Role Team Leader Team Size 4 Members Description In this Project we use RTC for real time application and controlling through a micro-controller . In this system we have a time reader(ID) for noting the in and out time of the employee , with display for displaying the timing details .
Project Title REMOTE VOICE CONTROL AND SECURITY SYSTEM
Role Team Leader Team Size 4 Members Description The system prompts the operator for access authentication (security feature) and once authenticated the user controls the plant operation by voicing the appropriate predefined commands (e.g. starting and stopping a motor). The DSK kit carries out real time speaker recognition for access authentication and speech verification for decoding the vocal commands
