Instructions to Fill Application Form for M.Tech. Programme

1. Candidates wishing to apply for more than one department should apply separately for each
department.

2. In case an applicant is offered admission, the following ORIGINAL documents should be

presented at the time of admission:

(a) Date of Birth Certificate or High School Certificate with Date of Birth on it
(b) All marks sheets/grade cards in the preceding degree programs
(c) All preceding degree certificates
(d) GATE/CSIR/UGC Score Card
(e) Community Certificate for candidates of SC, ST and OBC categories
(f) Medical Certificate for candidates with Physical Disabilities. IIT Hyderabad reserve the
right to conduct separate physical disability test by a competent government authority.

3. For applicants employed in a Government of India organization/laboratory/industry, a “No

Objection Certificate” in the prescribed format should be produced at the time of admission, in
case he/she is offered admission.

4. Download the application form from www.iith.ac.in and after duly filling it send as an email
attachment to mtech_2010_applications@iith.ac.in on or before 20 April 2010.

5. There will be an application fee of Rs.200/- for General/OBC category and Rs.100/- for SC/ST
category. Please send a demand draft in the name of “Registrar IIT Hyderabad” with a cover
letter to the address given below. Please attach a scanned copy of the demand draft along with
the application.
