Dear Candidate,

1. I am pleased to inform you that you have been provisionally selected for admission to the
Ph.D Program in the Department of Physics in IIT, Hyderabad under CSIR-JRF Funding
agency.
2. There is limited hostel accommodation, those who may not get the hostel
accommodation will have to stay outside. If you don’t get to stay in the hostel, HRA will
be provided as per the norms of CSIR.
3. You should note that no advance will provided from IIT Hyderabad in case there is a delay
in securing the scholarship from CSIR-JRF.
4. If you wish to accept the offer, you are required to pay a non-refundable initial fee
(Rs.10,000/- for all categories) on or before 07.06.2019 (Friday). This initial fee will be
adjusted against the balance fee to be paid by you upon joining at the time of registration.

 5. You are required to send the filled in Ph.D Program Acceptance form enclosed (Form 01)
and copy of online payment receipt through speed post on or before 07.06.2019
(Monday) to the following address:

Alternatively, you can also send the scanned copy of above documents to Prof.

Similarly, if you wish to decline the offer of admission at IIT Hyderabad, please
send filled-in Form 02 (enclosed) on or before 07.06.2019 (Friday). However, if IIT
Hyderabad does not receive any communication on your acceptance/decline within the
given timeline, your candidature will stand cancelled.
6. The date of Registration at IIT Hyderabad is on 24.07.2019 (Wednesday) and
commencement of classes is from 29.07.2019. You are advised to make a note of this.
