Applications  are  invited  on  prescribed  format  for  the  following  assignment  in  a  purely  time  bound 
research project undertaken in the School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences of this Institute. 

1.  Name  of  the  Temporary  : Summer Internship ‐ 1 position 

Assignment   
 
2.  Name  of  the  temporary  : “Subsurface  variability  of  the  Bay  of  Bengal  from 
research Project  observations and models: relationship with Indian Monsoon 
and Cyclogenesis”. 
 
3.  Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Department of Science and Technology (DST) 
   
4.  E  : Rs. 5,000/‐ per month  

5.  Qualification & Experiences  : Final  year  B.Tech,  M.Sc.  or  Integrated  M.Sc.  students  with 
60% marks till last semester. Students from IIT Bhubaneswar 
are not permitted. 
 
Desirable:  Working  experience  in  MATLAB/  Python  with 
strong background in statistical and data analysis. 
 
6.  Period of Engagement   : 2 months. Start date preferably by May 15, 2020.
