BABY JUMPER BEANIES


Knitted all in one double knit yarn is ideal (8ply) 8ply wool or acrylic
 Size 4.5mm needles (loose knitters)  Size 4.00mm needles (No. 8’s)
 Size 5mm needles (tight knitters) Cast on 72 stitches VERY Loosely
.Cast on 44 stitches, loosely 1st Row K2, P2 Repeat 35 times (Total 36 rows)
Work 18 rows in K2, P2 rib 37th Row K2 tog, to end of row (36 stitches)
Work 30 rows stocking stitch 38th Row Knit
Cast on 30 stitches at beginning of next 2 rows, 39th Row K2 tog, to end of row (18 stitches)
(please note longer sleeve)
40th Row Knit
Change K2, P2 (for sleeve and neck) Rib 22
41st Row K2 tog, to end of row 9 stitches
more rows
42 Row Knit
Next Row : Rib 39 Cast off 26 stitches, Rib 39
43rd K2 tog, 4 times K1 (5 stitches)
Loosely as this is the neck for the babies head
to go through Thread wool through remaining stitches, sew to
secure.
Next row : Rib39 cast on 26 stitches, Rib39
Continue sewing seem to finish beanie
Work 22 Rows in K2 P2 rib
Cast off 30 stitches at the beginning of the next
two rows
Work 30 rows stocking stitch
Work 18 Rows K2 P2 rib
Cast Off and sew up sides please keep the neck
nice and loose
Stripes are fine
