Cast off all 8 stitches.
Fold wings in half and sew side seams closed:

Assembly:
Lay your body piece flat- if you wish, press or block your pieces to prevent rolling
as you work:
The dotted line will be the fold line, and the bottom half under the dotted line will
be your front side.

4
Next, arrange your beak on the face just at the color change line, as in photo:
And with yellow yarn, sew beak to face.

Arrange your eyes above the beak and secure

on washers to safety eyes.

Now fold the body piece in half (dotted lines) and pin the side seams together. With green yarn and
starting at side seam on the right side, begin sewing the side seams together until you reach the bright pink
at the color change. Do not sew the bottom seams together (cast on edge to cast off edge) you will sew this
last after you stuff.

Once you finish sewing the green side seams on the right side, start sewing the bright pink side seams for
just one inch- or half way done of the pink side seam. Now you are going to make the ears by sewing thru
both layers of the body straight up to the top fold. See photos below:

Now sew the left side seams just like the right side.

Once both sides as sewn stuff your owl firmly and with green yarn, sew the
bottom edges closed:

Next sew each wing to the sides at the color change on the front side.

Lastly, sew the legs to the bottom edge of the body:
