PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS: This pattern is written using American terminology and is
worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise stated. If Llama is made using the materials
described, he will be 22-23cm tall from the top of his head to the base of his legs.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

Materials.

1. Main color for body : Alize plush milk color, Alize angora beige color , yarn Alize Forever
(brown, black, red, white)

2. Crochet hook in accordance with the yarn you use (2.5 mm for alize plush yarn, 1.5mm
for alize angora, forever yarn)

3. Fibrefill / toy stuffing

4. Stitch markers, darning and embroidery needles

5. eyes

6.hot glue gun for fixing the eyes

ABBREVATIONS: ch = chain | dc = double crochet | dc-inc = double crochet increase |

dec = decrease | hdc = half double crochet | hdc-inc = half double crochet increase | inc

A VERY QUICK GUIDE TO THE CROCHET STITCHES USED IN THIS PATTERN:

1. Chain (ch): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through loop on hook.

2. Double crochet (dc): Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch (there
should be 3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both loops left on hook (there
should be 2 loops left on hook), yarn over, pull loop through remaining loop on hook.

3. Double crochet increase (dc-inc): Work two double crochets into the same stitch. 4.
Decrease (dec): I prefer to use the “invisible” decrease. For this, insert hook into front loop
of first stitch (from the front and under). Repeat into front loop of next stitch. Yarn over,
pull loop through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull loop through final 2 loops on hook.

5. Half double crochet (hdc): Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch
(there should be 3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through all three loops on the hook.

6. Half double crochet increase (hdc-inc): Work two half double crochets into the same
stitch.

7. Increase (inc): Work two single crochets into the same stitch.

8. Skip (sk): Skip the next stitch, or the number of stitches specificed in the pattern.

9. Magic ring: Wrap yarn around fingers to form a loop. Insert hook through middle of loop.
Pull working end of yarn through ring and chain the required number of stitches through.
Pull the yarn ends to close the loop.

10. Single crochet (sc): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch (there should be 2
loops on hook), yarn over, pull loop through both loops on hook.

11. Slip stitch (sl): Insert hook, yarn over, pull loop through stitch and loop on hook.

Legs (make 4)

Start with alize miss(or alize angora ) beige color and 1.5mm hook

Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]

Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 st [12]

Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st) x 6 [18]

Rnd 4-11: 8rows sc in all 18 st [18]

Change yarn alize softy. 2.5 mm hook

Rnd 12-16: 5rows sc in all 18 st [18]

Now we will join the legs, we could do that 2 ways.

1st Way

Don’t fasten off the last leg.

Join 2 legs
1st pair of leg
Rnd 17: ch4, continue on 2nd leg: 18sc, on chain: 4hdc, on first leg: 18sc, 4hdc, join (44) Count 18 stiches
back and leave marker here (18th stitch). Fasten off
2nd pair of leg
Round 18: ch4, 18sc, on chain: 4hdc, on first leg: 18sc, 4hdc, join (44)
Do not fasten off Count 18 stiches back and leave marker here (18th stitch).

Join 2 pairs of legs

Round 19: Join 2 pair of legs, (44) and crochet 9rows sc in all 44st .

Sew the hole between legs. Use regular yarn/thread (likewise color).

2nd way

Start with alize softy yarn, 2.5 mm hook

Rnd 1: chain 23 sc, turn, from the 2nd st 2 inc, 18sc, inc, 4sc to the 1st st, inc, 18 sc, 2 inc (52)

Rnd 2: Now we will join the legs - 3sc, (join 9sc leg), 4sc, (join 9sc leg), 2sc, (join 9sc leg),
4sc, (join 9sc leg), 3sc (52)

Rnd 3-11: 9rows sc in all 52 st (52)

After crocheting the body we will work on neck. Choose which side will be the back and front,
and on front part put marker for 18st, it will be our neck.

The rest of stitches leave undone.

Work only on those 18 stitches.

Rnd 12-19: 8 rows sc in all 18st (18)

Rnd 20: inc all 18st (36) stuff the neck, from here we will crochet the head.

Rnd 21-26: 6rows sc in all 36st [36]

Rnd 27: (Sc in each of next 4 st,)dec x 6 [30]

Rnd 28: (Sc in each of next 3 st,)dec x 6 [24]

Rnd 29: sc in all 24 st (24)

Sew the back part. Do not forget to put more stuffing. Make sure everything is stuffed well.
