Frog hat:
Crochet in back and forth rows. Chain 2 at the beginning of each row.
Crochet with green yarn:
Chain 60 and start working in the 3rd chain from hook:
1. 58 DC, turn
2-4. Chain 2, 58 DC in a 1X1 Ribbing stitch (1FPDC, 1BPDC) alternate DC in each
row (see photo), turn (3 rows)

Continue crocheting the next rows as usual.


5-11. Chain 2, 58DC, turn (7 rows)
Flatten together and crochet 29 sc through both loops across.
Fasten off, break yarn, and hide the tail.
Turn inside out so that the seam is from inside of the hat.

Crochet a tie:
Chain 90-95. Fasten off and break yarn.
Pierce the tie through the bottom of the hat in zigzag. Put the hat on the head
of our duck and tie the ties into a bow.

Crochet the eyes:


With green yarn:
1. 6sc into MR
2. 6inc (12)
3. (1sc,inc)*6 (18)
4-5. 18sc (2 rows)

Change to white yarn. Draw green yarn to the right side (we will crochet the
border with this yarn later).

Stuff with fiberfill.
Fasten off, tighten the hole, break yarn and hide inside.
Return to HDC in round 5 and crochet in a circle with the remaining green yarn

Crochet the second eye similarly.

Assembly:
1. Sew the head to the body. Stuff the neck firmly and make sure that the
head does not tilt.

2. Sew the beak in the middle between rounds 15-21. Make a triangular shape.
3DC is a top, and 9sc is a bottom (sew along the straight line).

3. Sew the tail to the middle of the body between rounds 7-12 (count from the
bottom up). Make a triangular shape.

4. Sew the eyes to the hat between rounds 5-6. The distance between the eyes
is 10-12 DC.

5. Embroider the eyebrows between rounds 10-13. The distance between the
upper points is 13 sc. Do not cut thread and embroider the eyelashes lines
above the eyes. Fasten off, cut thread, and hide the tails.

BONUS (crochet bunny ears for a hat pattern):
If you want to crochet the hat with the bunny ears, then crochet the frog hat
similarly but use pink yarn. (YarnArt jeans, color 74)
