 -Extra (shift) stitch-
A very common term in crocheting is the extra stitch.
So what is this loop?

When crocheting, almost always the marker of the beginning of the round
is shifted to the right side. It is necessary to align it. And how to do it?

You just need to crochet another 1sc at the end of the round and shift the
marker by one stitch.
The second stitch becomes the first and the first becomes the last. This is
the shift (extra) stitch.

And the most important thing! This stitch is not included in crocheting.

Cut the yarn, leaving the end for sewing pieces.
Sew the beak (between rounds 21-22), fixing it with
sewing pins beforehand. Stuff with fiberfill when
sewing.

-Eyelids (make 2)-

Crochet in light yellow color. Ch5, start on the second chain from the hook: sl st, 2sc, sl st.
Cut the yarn, leaving the end for sewing pieces.
Embroider whites of the eyes with a white thread.
Sew the eyelids over the eyes.
Tint the cheeks with dry pastels or peach blush.
Using black textile paint, paint freckles.

Using a mustard sewing thread, make a back stitch between rounds 1 and 2 of edging the pants.
Using a green embroidering thread (3 strands of skein), embroider the stems and leaves of
flowers.
Using a yellow embroidering thread (6 strands), embroider the middle of the flower with French
knots.
Using a white and light blue embroidering threads (6 strands), embroider the petals with "Lazy
Daisy" stitches.

Crochet with dark mint yarn. Ch26, start on the second chain from the hook: 24sc, 3sc in the last
chain, on the other side of the chain 23sc, inc. Try on the strap and, if necessary, increase or
decrease it by crocheting a chain with a larger or smaller number of chains.
Cut the yarn, fasten off, hide the ends inside.
Thus we made 2 straps.
Sew the straps on the front and back of the pants. If desired, the straps can still be grabbed over
the wings so that they do not fall off. Sew buttons on the front.

 -Legs (make 2)-
Crochet 3 toes in orange color. On the first and second pieces cut the yarn, on the third piece - do
not cut.

Fold in half and crochet 6sc through both sides.

Cut the yarn, fasten off, leaving the end for sewing pieces.
Take the ear, fold it in half again and sew the edges with a needle and the remaining thread,
sew to the bonnet.
Tint the center ear with blush.
Cut out two circles (cheeks) from pink felt and glue them (see photo).
Crochet ties on the sides of the bonnet. Attach the white yarn to the skipped loop of round 18
and crochet ch45. Cut the yarn. Thread a wooden bead and tie a knot at the end. Crochet the
second tie in the same way.

Insert the frame from the body into the opening in the head and sew on pieces with the remaining
thread from the body.
