Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
Dough
• 500 mL flour
• 20 mL baking powder
• 2 mL salt
• 60 mL sugar
• 100 mL cold margarine
• 187 mL milk

Spread
• 60 mL margarine
• 125 mL brown sugar
• Cinnamon

Directions

1. Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a large bowl add: flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix
together with a wooden spoon.

3. Cut in cold margarine (100 mL) with a pastry blender or a fork.

4. Add milk; mix together with a fork until mixture turns into soft
dough.

5. Turn onto a lightly-floured counter. Knead until it becomes


smooth.

6. Roll out with a rolling pin to 5mm thickness.

7. Spread margarine (60 mL) using a spatula, add brown sugar and
sprinkle with cinnamon.

8. Roll up like a jelly roll and cut into 12 even slices discarding ends.

9. Grease muffin tins with PAM spray (12).

10. Place each slice into a muffin tin.


11. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until nicely browned.
