Please Help Save Pleasure House Point

Pleasure House Point is a precious piece of land in Virginia Beach, Virginia that is threatened to be developed.
This valuable 122 acre property is very important to the environment, the Lynnhaven River, and our citizens.
Please help our effort to raise $4 million dollars to save the ten most densely forested acres of this land from
development by taking a few minutes to make a personalized card to send to a celebrity of your choice.
1. In the box on the cover of the attached card, please draw a picture of a tree. You can use whatever
method/materials you choose. (NOTE: Live oak trees are found on Pleasure House Point and can live
to be over 1,400 years old.)
2. Write a small note on the picture of the sticky note (located inside this card) to direct your celebrity to
please look inside. (Please be polite)
3. On the inside of the card, write a short message explaining the program and ask your celebrity for a
donation. Address most celebrities by Ms. or Mr. Start your note by thanking them for what they do
and then explain that you are requesting their help to purchase a tree [See back for example]. Thank
them for their time and help. You may provide your address if you wish.
4. In the middle of the back of the card, write your celebrity’s address. (Many addresses can be found on
Google or MSN White Pages) You may return your card as directed below without a stamp, but if you
wish to include a regular stamp, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please make this card personalized so that it sticks out when your celebrity receives it in the mail. When you
