About The School:

The School of Corporate Governance & Public Policy is a research centre at Indian Institute of Corporate affairs dedicated to the promotion of
high quality research work impacting the lives of people at large and preparing future leaders in the sphere of Public Policy and Corporate
governance. The autonomous school under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India works on policy challenges from diverse
domains, Primarily ESG, CSR, Diversity and Gender empowerment, Social economic and digital Inclusion, governance in the 21st century etc
with multiple stakeholders in Public and private sectors.

The school intends to collaborate with practitioners of Public Policy, governance, Think Tanks, development sector organizations with the
objective to create a sustainably prosperous, just and safe society by promotion of cutting edge research, good governance practices and
thorough academic and executive program – Inspire young and bright forthcoming generation to advance social change though Public Policy.

About The program

The certificate program in Public Policy is designed specifically to address the requirements of mid-career and senior level leaders with at
least three years of work experience, specifically designed for Union Civil Services; State Government Officials; Public Sector Officials;
Multilateral agencies (UN, World Bank, ADB etc); Non-Government Organizations (Indian and International); Think Tanks; Entrepreneurs;
Consulting firms; Senior Industry Executives; Media professionals, and those interested in Public Policy and Administration. Participants will
gain knowledge about developing policies and analyzing public policy, as well as how to include ethical and practical problems. The
program's curriculum places a lot of emphasis on best practices for implementation, management, and evaluation in the fields of public
administration and public policy. The course's three-fold exchanges with faculty experts, a varied group of peers, and policymakers,
practitioners, and academicians from India and abroad are intended to sharpen the depth and breadth of public policy wisdom. Through
research and stakeholder engagement across domains, the Centre's twin goals of influencing policy discourse and improving governance are

First of its kind in India, the course will be taught using a special hybrid format with one residency. It will involve rigorous classroom
sessions spaced out over three months, interwoven with online interaction and group work. Each participant is expected to spend at
least 4-5 hours studying reading materials before the virtual classes commence each term. The reading materials which includes study
materials, news articles, Text books, pre recorded lectures, teaching cases, media articles will be made available to each participant
prior to the virtual class through the Learning Management System.

Through strong collaborative networks and relationships with a variety of think tanks, policy experts, and practitioners around the
world, the school's work in diverse areas of public policy is continuously improved. IICA also runs a number of impactful and creative
executive programmes. SPPCG has become a forum for ideation, debate, and discovery thanks to a thriving academic environment for
intellectual participation.
