INTRODUCTION

The model of fuzzy system stability is Takagi-

Sugeno which can be shown equivalent to
switching system with time invariant (LTI)
subsystems. This paper discuss some necessary
and some sufficient conditions of global
asymptotic stability. When the sufficient
condition of stability is satisfied a common
Lyapnov function for subsystems exists.
Notations & Definations

x¯ (k) = [ x1(k) .…xn(k)] T where x1 (k)…..xn (k) are the

state variables at the system k.
Ri : IF (x1(k) is S i1 , AND…….AND xn (k) is S in ) THEN
x¯(k + 1) = Aix¯(k)

x¯(k+1) = Σi wi (k)Aix¯(k)/ Σi wi (k)

A=[A1 ,A2,…..,An]
Ak = (A ×A×A×A) k times
Equivalence

The system could have the same dynamics if the

condition of stability that is sufficient and
necessary condition match

ϭ (Ak) → 0 as k → ∞

p(Ak ) → 0 as k → ∞
Stability Condition

Sufficient condition
|S-1AS| < 1; for all A

 Lapynov Function
V(x¯(k)) = x¯(k)TPx¯(k)

CONCLUSION

The stability is taken to be global asymptotic

stability of the Takagi-Sugeno model. And no
specific asymptotic stability is designed. The
possibility of simultaneous transformation of
system matrices and normalization can be
checked by any computer method such as
MATLAB . These results hold for a very general
subsystem class.
