A two-day workshop for CONSUMERS and their supporters.
2 days of discussion, debate, healing, storytelling, peer support, fun,
and learning to be proud of who you are!

Ron Coleman is a Mental Health Consultant specialising in recovery. Ron shares the story of his
own route to recovery after spending 13 years in and out of the psychiatric system, in his
homeland Scotland and the UK. He has many insights into issues such as trauma, voice hearing,
paranoid thoughts, dissociation, and other forms of emotional distress. Ron is the author of
‘Recovery - An Alien Concept?, and co-author of books and workbooks on recovery, voices and
self harm.
Communify Qld’s HVG encourages organisations to sponsor and support people who access
their services to attend this unique opportunity. Ron’s workbooks will be available for people
attending to purchase for $15.00, so their experience will be ongoing.
