After due consultations among NSC Officers and DG we have tentatively decided the
following themes for Plenary and Concurrent Sessions of the Conference:

I) Plenary sessions themes

1. Business leaders and CEO’s vision & strategies

2. Creating Felt leadership through Top management role modeling.

3. Development of preventative safety and health culture

4. Occupational health & Industrial Hygiene – Proactive approach

5. SHE education and training

6. Current environmental issues and challenges

7. Partnerships in promoting SHE culture & Networking

II) Concurrent session’s themes

1. Construction safety - Developing Skill & Competency

2. SHE in mining industry

3. SHE in MSME and service sector

4. Road safety

5. Disaster management

6. PPE – meeting the international standards

7. Role of Trade unions in development of preventative SHE culture

8. SHE management systems – Integrated system approach

9. SHE auditing and risk assessment

It has also been decided that NSC Officers will form and consult a Core Group of
Technical Experts from time to time in finalizing the session themes, topics to be
covered under each theme, selection of Chairman and Speakers for presentations, etc.

In view of your expertise and long association with NSC, we have included your name
in the Core Group and look forward for your guidance and support in the course of
preparation and organisation of this National Conference.
