Columnist and book author Vasilica Mitrea has launched her fourth book, "Vremuri, oameni şi… destine", a concise, yet powerful description of the life and destiny of some particular Crimean Tatar families and of the Crimean Tatar nation. Vasilica hopes it will be a tribute to a truly great nation, helping the Tatars around the world achieving their dreams.
Vasilica Mitrea is a member of the Romanian Navy League, a member of the "Mihail Sadoveanu" Literary Club and a member of the Romanian Dobrudja Writers League.
Her previous books are "Ştiai ca timpu-i colorat?", "Cândva,… prietene" and "Confesiunile Angelei". Vasilica often writes on social and cultural issues in the regional magazines Camarazii, Marea Noastră, Dobrogea Culturală and Arma Pontica. She also wrote about Tatars in the Emel and Karadeniz magazines. In her spare time, Vasilica loves traveling, meeting people, writing and watching movies. Her favorite artists are Florin Piersic and Bruce Willis.
She lives in Constanta, Romania.

When I began writing this book all of my friends had just one piece of advice: "Don't waste your time writing about Tatars."
I wrote this book because nothing I knew about the Tartars matches reality and I feel guilty for this.
