    Season’s Greetings! Wishing you all the joy that is found in the true
    meaning of Christmas!

    Enclosed you will find a donation for the blessing boxes. I assume that many will contribute
    nonperishable food for these families. Therefore, my thought is that I would like this
    contribution to go for a $60 gift card to a grocery store for each of these seven families to be
    able to purchase their own “Christmas dinner”, which we all know includes a lot of things, i.e.
    turkey or ham, which cannot be put into a “nonperishable” food box. Also, every family has
    different traditions which are a valuable part of a child’s Christmas memories. The additional
    funds, are for each of the eight children to get a $10.00 gift card to buy a gift for their parents.

    I am not leaving the children out; but will bring those gifts to the blessing box. I just wanted
    you to have this in time to get the gift cards to the families in time for them to do their
    shopping, thawing and cooking.
