Stamping
As described in the ISO 5792 all Marine glazing must be marked with several stamps. Appendix

● The stamp on the fire rated glass;


CF mentioning A0, B15, A30, B30, A60 etc.
● Stamp on the pressure glass in the centre bottom according to ISO614 mentioning the glass thickness in
the inverted triangle, only of the pressure glass! On top of the triangle should be mentioned the fire class,
(Class A0) on the sides of the triangle “fire proof” and “anti-feu” under the triangle point the text ‘INSIDE’
and “INTERIEUR’.
● The stamp of the producer of the frames, can be stamped in the glass also readable form the inside.

N.B. All marine glass should have stamps that are readable from the inside of the ship. The surveyor of
a notified body will inspect the whole construction of a ship and has to be able to read what kind of glass
is mounted in the frame while walking through the ship.
