A. Tire pressure gauge used: ________________________________
B. Tire pressure checked by: NAME: __________________________
C. Date/Time tire pressure checked: DATE (Z): ________ / TIME (Z): ______
2. Using a calibrated tire pressure gauge, check and record the pressure of all the tires on a same landing
gear. Record the pressure of the tire with the highest pressure.
NOTE:
a. The pressure in the tire will be higher than the nominal value.
b. The pressure of all the tires must be in the same range.
c. You must not deflate a hot tire.
d. If all the pressures are approximately the same, and higher than the specified operating
pressure, no other steps are necessary.

3. If a tire has a pressure that is ten percent (10%) lower than the highest pressure on that landing gear,
inflate the tire to the value of the tire with the highest pressure. Make an entry in the logbook for this
tire and monitor the tire pressure for 24 hours.
4. During the check, if there is an entry in the logbook and if the pressure decreases again for this tire,
replace the tire. If necessary, replace the adjacent tire .
5. If the pressure of a hot tire is less than or equal to the pressure specified for a cold tire, this tire is
defective. Replace the tire and send it for a check.
