CALL TO ACTION
RALLY AT WHITE HOUSE TO
SAFEGUARD TAIWAN!
Demonstrate against Hu Jintao; Protect Taiwan’s sovereignty
All Taiwanese Americans and their friends are urged to take a day off to come to
Washington, D.C. to demonstrate against Chinese President Hu Jintao and protest
China’s military and economic threats against Taiwan. The event will be held at:

China constantly lays specious claim over Taiwan. It persistently refuses to renounce the
use of force against Taiwan. Currently China has 1,600 missiles targeted at Taiwan.
Additionally China promulgates economic integration as a tool to annex Taiwan. China
perennially blocks Taiwan’s participation in international organizations, depriving
Taiwan of its international survival space.

When Hu is here, let us tell him loud and clear that Taiwan and China are two separate
countries. Let us tell China to keep its hands off Taiwan. Taiwanese people have the
right to determine their own future. Let us join hands to show Hu our resolve to preserve
Taiwan’s freedom and democracy.

We appeal to you for your active participation. Call Ms. Chiao-Jung Wang now to tell her
that you are coming. Thank you.
