Ember's Fall

I saw an ember touch off the sky

It spread across the night in brilliance
There was joy in my heart like bubbles afloat
There was laughter and gaiety aplenty to feel
Shrouded in darkness to explode into Sun
Tension and grief to explode into ecstacy
Laughter and loving a race to the heart
Crying and sorrow a faint memory spent
Whence falls this ember from the heavens?
Tis you my angel and I am amazed.
