Notes

Everyone will stand before God and give an account.

The only way to escape the wrath of God's righteous judgement is by obeying the truth,(verse 8). The truth that Paul is
referring to is the gospel. By trusting Christ as the One who took the wrath of God upon Himself at the cross, God's
wrath is removed, and the result will be a life that is described in verse 7.

I see verse 6 as the main idea, explaining the rest of the passage.

Verses 9-10 seem to be summing up verses 7-8.

And 11seems to be the ground for verses 6-10. Each of us will stand before God one day, Christian, and non Christian,
and "He will render each one according to his works."
