Mountain Biking Tips, Part 2 here.

Mountain biking might be more demanding than casually cycling around your neighborhood, but
that does not mean it cannot be fun. Try these suggestions if you want to better enjoy your
mountain bike.

1. Ride with Others

Riding with friends, family, and colleagues produces an instant support group for your biking
expeditions. Offer each other encouragement and make them hold you accountable for reaching
your goals.

2. Have Fun

Mountain biking is usually viewed as a way to exercise, given that it often takes place on steep,
rugged terrain. That does not mean you cannot enjoy it. Unless you have personal records to set
and subsequently break, you need not pedal hard and furiously whenever you set out on your
bike. Relax and set your own pace.

3. Upgrade Your Bike

If your current bike is looking the worse for wear, why not modernize it with some new gear?
Apply a fresh coat of paint, switch out old tires, add new lights, and polish until it shines.
Besides upgrades, you might also consider tuning certain elements, such as your pedals, chains,
and seat.

4. Buy a New Bike

Maybe you have outgrown your bike, maybe it has proven unsuitable for rougher terrain, or
maybe you are simply looking for a new ride. Whatever your reason, a new bike can reinvigorate
your enthusiasm for mountain riding. Head out to your local bike shop, browse their wares, and
see if you are allowed to test ride any of their products. Avoid bikes from large-scale retailers
such as Walmart and Target, as they tend to stock cheaply made products more suitable for
casual riders.
