Pre Paid Mobile Number Porting Process Procedures

What does the retailer do

Customer Walk into the Retail Point for MNP Port in

Retailer Dial 121 from his E Topup no. Keys in the


customers mobile no. Select Prepaid/Postpaid and
listens to the special offers

Customer send the SMS for UPC code.


(PORT<space>Mobile No. send to 1900).
[ PORT 9886098860 send to 1900]
Customer receives the UPC code on his mobile
phone.
Customer fills in the MNP form/CAF form and gives
the required documents.

Retailer sends the following message:


ACT<space>MNP<space><15 digit IMSI
no><space> Customer mobile No><space><1st
name><space><last name>.
[ACT MNP 123456789012345 9886094460 raju]
Send this SMS to 111

After 10 min of sending the SMS retailer to do a


recharge on the customer mobile no for the recharge
value as heard in the 121 IVR.
Customer goes of with the SIM card. SIM will get
activated once the port-in process is completed.
