Registration

New Mobile banking Customers


• New customers have to download the application from www.iob.in  Mobile
banking  Application link

• Fill the application and submit to branch

• Alternatively customer can register through internet banking by logging into


IOB net banking  Edit profile  Mobile Banking registration

• Customer will be automatically registered to new mobile banking within two


working days.

• Customer will receive download link and MPIN through SMS after successful
registration.
Channels available

• USSD

• Android/Windows/Apple Application
Other native applications and SMS banking will be provided shortly
USSD
• Customer dials *99# from his mobile phone.

• Customer receives welcome message as “Welcome to National Unified USSD Platform


for Mobile Banking. Please enter your 7 digit MMID.”

• Customer enters ‘IOBA’ in IFSC field

• The bank mobile banking menu is displayed on the screen.

• Customer selects the transaction from the menu and enters the details(last four digits
of account number) as requested in the NUUP session to complete the transaction.

• Bank completes the transaction and confirms the result on the mobile of the customer

• The following Services can be availed through USSD by calling *99#

 Mini Statement
 Funds Transfer through IMPS
 Change MPIN
 Know My MMID
Native application

First time Login


• When the customer downloads the application and login for the very first
time, Application will ask to enter the registered mobile number

• On entering the registered mobile number, customer will be prompted to


enter OTP(One time PIN) received in his registered mobile number.

• On entering OTP customer will be prompted to set a new 4-digit password


and confirm password

• After successfully setting the password, customer has to change the mpin
through change MPIN option.
