Debit Card
• A debit card is a payment card that deducts money directly from a
customer's checking account to pay for a purchase or withdrawing
cash.
• Banks normally provide two types of cards based upon currency:
 Domestic Cards (Valid in Nepal, India and Bhutan)
 International Cards (Valid internationally except Nepal, India and
Bhutan)
Visa Travel card
• Issued against the Passport / Travel Documents
• NRB foreign exchange facility guidelines are to be followed for providing travel card to
customer
• Internal a/c is debited as soon as transaction is performed

• Exchange against PP Facility form – Valid Visa along with Confirmed Air Ticket

Issue Charge
USD 5 (1 Years validity)
Card limit : Up to UDS 1500
Credit Card
• A credit card is a payment card issued to users (cardholders) by Issuer
(Bank). The Bank creates a revolving account and grants a line of credit to
the cardholder, from which the cardholder can borrow money for payment
to a merchant or as a cash advance
• Buy Now Pay Later is the Basic Principle of Credit Card

Types of Credit cards

Domestic Credit Card
• Visa Classic/Visa Gold
• Issued to customers having sustainable regular source of income viz.
salaried individuals and self employed businessmen
• Valid in Nepal, India and Bhutan
• Can be issued to customers maintaining account with GIBL
• Accepted in Internet based merchants (E-commerce transaction)
• Credit limit Less than 75K (Classic)
• Credit limit 75K and above (Gold)

International Credit Card
• Gold International Credit Card
• Issued to customers having sustainable source of foreign
currency income viz. exporters, T&E business (Hotel, Travel
Agency etc.)
• USD Designated account
• Valid worldwide but not valid in Nepal, India and Bhutan
• Can be issued to customers even not maintaining account with
GIBL, however, the customer must have foreign currency account
in any bank
• Widely accepted in internet
• Credit Limit from USD 500 to USD 10,000

Credit Limit/ Interest/ Payment Option
• Credit Limit is determined based on income source and repayment capacity
• For clients with salary income
Maximum Credit Limit = 1 month salary * 1.5
 For self employed business clients
Maximum Credit limit = average monthly income * 1
Interest rate of Credit Card -24% per annum
Payment Option
• Ranges from 10% to 100% (For Domestic Cards)
• Default – 10%
• If selected payment option is other than 100%, customer will be
charged interest from transaction date on outstanding amount

Billing Cycle
• Transactions posted till EOD of last date of English month will
be billed on 1st of every English Month.
• Statement is delivered to the customer through email on 1st
of every English Month. If this date happens to be a holiday, it
will be postponed till the next working day.
• 14th text Message will be send and Customers need to
settle with in 16th of every English Month.
Note : If customers fail to settle due amount with in 16th
of every month. Customers are liable pay LPF and Interest
in outstanding amount .

For clients with salary income
 Completely filled up Credit Card Application Form.
 Identification Document (Citizenship / Valid Passport)
 1 PP Size Photograph (Color/Latest)
 Income source related documents/ 6 months bank statement
 Bank Account with GIBL
For self employed business clients
 Proof of Business Income/ Audited financial report/tax clearance/firm
renewal
 Proof of Other Income

Global Ecom Card
• Global E-Com Card is valid worldwide for E- Com transactions. This card is
issued to individual and organization having PAN Number. Uses of this card is
only for online transaction (E-commerce) such as Paypal, Online Streaming
sites ( Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.), Social sites for marketing (Facebook,
twitter, YouTube, Google etc.), Journal publishing internationally, Procurement
of software (mobile applications), Domain Registration, Web Hosting,
Subscription of applications, Fee Payment of IELTS, TOEFL , SAT etc…
Documents required
• Signed application form and self-declaration application form
• PAN Certificate Copy
• Account maintained at GIBL

Easy Buy Easy Pay
• It is a Credit Product, which will be tied up with Credit Card. Hence,
Credit Card is a must.
• It is a loan to purchase a product from our selected merchant outlets.
• Limit of “EBEP” can be more that credit card limit or within the credit
card limit.
Charges
Loan processing fee : NPR 1000 or 1% which ever is higher.
EMI Tenure
6 and 12 Months

Point of Sales
Point of Sale (POS): it is an electronic device through which a customer
executes financial transactions by swiping Plastic cards issued by
financial institutions.
Requirement for POS
• Merchant should open Bank Account ( Current Account) with GIBL
• Merchant should submit merchant establishment (POS Application
Form) form along with PAN certificate, Company registration
certificate, Tax clearance certificate and audited financial report
Merchant Service Fee ( MSF)
Particular MSF Rate
ONUS( GIBL's card in GIBL's POS) 0.5% to 1.5%
OFFUS ( Other domestic bank's Card in GIBL's POS ) 1.5% to 2.5%
International bank's Card in GIBL's POS 3.5% to 4.5%
