    The Broken Hill All Breeds Obedience Dogs Club newsletter welcomes members back for 2011, which will feature the club's 50th anniversary celebration in September. Last year the club participated in the Broken Hills Christmas parade with a float decorated with ribbons, tinsel and cardboard boxes. Approximately 15 members walked their dogs or rode on the float. The newsletter edition includes photos from October trials, the Christmas party, and the Christmas float. The club's Christmas party was held in December with around 40 people attending despite wet and stormy conditions. Games such as egg and spoon race and a fancy dress parade were played. It was a memorable night for both people and their dogs.

    Welcome back!
    Christmas Parade
    Last year, the Obedience club entered a float into
    Broken Hills Christmas Parade on Saturday 4th
    December 2010. Approximately 15 members either
    walked their dogs or sat in our float. The float was
    decorated from ribbons, tinsel and cardboard boxes
    With wrapping. The last float the Obedience Club
    Entered into the Christmas Parade was in 1999. This
    week’s Edition has photos from the October Trials,
    Christmas Party and Christmas Float.
    The Obedience Club is now on Facebook. Simply type in

    Festive Celebrations for the Obedience club!


    The Obedience club’s Christmas party was held on
    Sunday 5th December 2010. Approximately 40 people
    attended with wet and stormy conditions not putting a
    damper on the spirit. Many games were played includ-
    ing “Egg and spoon race”, “Look-a-likes” and a fancy
    dress parade. It was a memorable night for everyone,
    and their dogs. The Obedience club would like to extend
    a special thanks to Ernie and Darren for organizing the
    games. And everyone else who helped make the Night a
    Success, Thank you!
