Week of January 31-February 5, 2011
Men's Basketball Dale Jones Junior Waterloo West
Dale poured in 21 points including three clutch free throws in the game's closing seconds to secure a win over their rival Waterloo East. The
6' 5" junior is 3rd in rebounding, 4th in blocked shots and 12th in scoring in the tough Mississippi Valley Conference.

Women's Basketball Zinka Duric Junior Waterloo West


This junior scored 18 points, had four rebounds and five steals to lead her Wahawks to a win over rival Waterloo East. Zinka, a 5' 10" forward,
helped her team stay just one game out of 1st place in the MVC Mississippi Division by winning their 15th consecutive game.

Men's Bowling Casey Sheets Senior CR Kennedy


Casey posted the best game and best series of the season for his team and helped the Cougars to a win over Wahlert. The senior rolled a
497 series with games of 270 and 227 to help Kennedy win for the second time. The 270 game ranks in the top ten in the MVC this year.

Women's Bowling Courtney Moore Junior CR Jefferson


This outstanding junior rolled a 464 series based on games of 229 and 235, very consistent. Courtney raised her average to 195.2, which ranks
in the top five in the MVC. She helped her team clinch the outright MVC Valley Division championship with her effort.

Men's Swimming Ian Ford Junior CR Washington


Ian won the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Backstroke to help his Warriors continue their incredible streak of 48 consecutive district
championships. His times of 1:59.44 in the IM and :53.28 in the backstroke were both personal bests this season.

Wrestling Luke Kremer Junior CR Kennedy


This junior 135-pounder won a pair of matches in MVC duals to complete a perfect 13-0 conference record. Luke is now 34-3 on the season
with 15 pins. He won his weight class in the MVC Tournament at Xavier earlier and looks for a trip to State at districts this week.
