Favorite Homemade Cleaners

Laundry Detergent
Combine 2 cups of finely grated castile soap, 1 cup of borax, 1 cup of baking
soda and 1 cup of washing soda in an airtight container. Shake well to mix.
Use 1/8 cup per load. Shake every so often to prevent ingredients from
settling. Add white vinegar to the rinse cycle to act as a natural fabric
softener.

Dishwasher Detergent
Combine ½ cup of Borax, ½ cup of washing soda, 10 packets of lemonade
Kool-aid (unsweetened), and ¼ cup of kosher salt into an airtight container.
Shake well to mix. Use 1 tsp of detergent per load. Fill rinse compartment
with white vinegar in place of rinse-aid. (Note: Clumping in detergent is
normal.)

All-Purpose Cleaner
Put 2 Tbsp of Vinegar and 1 tsp of Borax into a 16oz spray bottle. Fill bottle
with hot water and shake to blend until Borax is dissolved. Add ¼ cup of
liquid castile soap. Scent with essential oils to your liking. Spray will keep
indefinitely.
