• Ephesians 5:23 (King James Version)
•  23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as
Christ is the head of the church: and he is the
saviour of the body.
• Ephesians 1:22-23 (King James Version)
•  22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave
him to be the head over all things to the church,
•  23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth
all in all.

• Church can be defined in the Greek as
“ekklesia”, ek is out of, and klesis is a calling.
• It is easy enough to use this word in the
general sense, however in lieu of prophecy it
takes on a much different meaning.
• I struggled with defining the “church” this
week. I don’t know what or who it is because
of the prophetic place we are in God’s Plan.

• Is it everybody, is it all denominations, is it a
few collectively in those denominations. We
can’t all be the church in my mind, why,
because we don’t worship or discern God the
same way. In the definition of “ekklesia”, the
church is “the revelation of Jesus Christ”, and
the “organic unity of a body”.
• In order for the term “church” to make sense
to me I had to break it down prophetically.

• The Prophetic Past:
• Hosea 2:23 (King James Version) (Romans 9:24,25)
•  23And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy
upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them
which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall
say, Thou art my God.

• Acts 20:28 (King James Version)

•  28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over
the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the
church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

• Paul’s writings up until the time of his death were full
of warnings about the operation of the church and
how that men would try and change the true nature.
The church was nurtured into the state that it was in
by 60AD and forward.
• We have to ask ourselves this question, the church in
the book of Acts was certainly operating under a
different premise than we operate. If that was the
church, then it would be difficult for me in my
natural mind to call this the church.

• Remember God doesn’t hide things from us, He hides things for us….
• 1 Corinthians 13:8-12 (King James Version)
•  8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;
whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be
knowledge, it shall vanish away.
•  9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
•  10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part
shall be done away.
•  11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I
thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
•  12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I
know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

• Paul helps us to understand the prophetic church in this portion of
scripture. He gives us the prophetic past by allowing us to know that the
church that Jesus established would become unrecognizable in the
coming generations.

• Isaiah 60
•  1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen
upon thee.
•  2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the
people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen
upon thee.
•  3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of
thy rising.

• As the church sank into gross darkness, which
is a darkness not just absent of light but
“gross” darkness. A darkness that can’t even
be groped in.
• John on the isle of Patmos even defines the
degeneration of the church in his writings to
the churches of Asia Minor.

• Speaking from a timeline sense, by 300 AD the
church had ceased to function in the
supernatural sense and become subject to the
combination of church and state. Prophetically
speaking ,church and state, which in our
minds is a modern battlefield, will never be
established again until the coming of Jesus.

• Paul speaking prophetically gave us an
unknown timeline in speaking of the future of
the church. In essence he said that during this
time of darkness, 3 things would cease or
become retarded in progress.
• Knowledge
• Prophecy
• Glossolalia would cease

• Upon this prophecy would hinge the opening of the pages for that
which is “perfect”……
• Here we are, knowledge has been increased,
• Daniel 12:3-5 (King James Version)
•  3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament;
and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
•  4But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the
time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be
increased.
•  5Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on
this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank
of the river.

• Prophecy is being fulfilled daily, as it pertains
to the World, Israel, and the Gentiles…….
• We must be awakened to our call, our
homeland is quickly becoming sub-servient.
How long we have as a place of influence, I
don’t know but favor is still with us currently
and we must take advantage of this time….

• Glossolalia has been confusing and
misunderstood in the past 100 years but God
is going to help us. It is part of the
supernatural realm in which we must live this
duo citizenship. It is here and it is real………
• “That which is Perfect”, this is not as we define
but “mature”, doing that for which it was
created to do”.

• The Prophetic Future:
• Revelation 20:4 (King James Version)
•  4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and
judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls
of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had
received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years.

having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should
be holy and without blemish.

• I must keep my eyes on the prophetic future..
lest I become confused in the prophetic
present.
• The glory of the latter will be greater than that
of the former…… The trap of trying to
understand the natural flow will stop the
spiritual insight that God wants us to have…..

• The Prophetic Present: Romans 11 “ The
Fruitful”
• 16For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also
holy: and if the root be holy, so are the
branches.
•  17And if some of the branches be broken off,
and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted
in among them, and with them partakest of the
root and fatness of the olive tree;

•  18Boast not against the branches. But if thou
boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root
thee.
•  19Thou wilt say then, The branches were
broken off, that I might be grafted in.
•  20Well; because of unbelief they were broken
off, and thou standest by faith. Be not

only, but also heaven.
•  27And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of
those things that are shaken, as of things that are made,
that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
•  28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be
moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God
acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

•  12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this
world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places.
