(1) CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF AYURVEDIC DOCTORS, MULTIPURPOSE WORKERS (ANMl & AYURVEDIC PHARMACISTS FOR AYURVEDIC SPECIALITY CLINICS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

SPECIALITY CLINIC:

Application in the proforma given below are invited from the Indian Citizens eligible for the posts of Ayurvedic Doctors, Multipurpose Workers (ANM) and Ayurvedic Pharmacists for the 18 (eighteen) Ayurvedic Speciality Clinics established at the different Hospitals of the Districts.

A. AYURVEDIC DOCTORS:

36 (thirty six) Posts (9 reserved for S.C, 2 reserved for S.T., 3 reserved for O.B.C. Category -A & 3 forO.B.C. Category-B candidates): Contractual remuneration will be the basic Pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs.9000-40,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-) plus dearness allowances, H,R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.

Qualification :

Essential: Essential-i) A five years degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University established by law or a statutory Board or Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

Desirable :-

(a) Post Graduate qualification in Ayurveda from a University recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine and

Knowledge of Bengali-spoken and reading.

(b) Knowledge in MS Office in Computer.

Age : Not more than 40 years as on 1st January, 2011 relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as admisSible.

N.B: Candidates must be registered either in Part 'A' of the State Regitrar of Ayurvedic Medical Practioner maintained by the Paschim Banga Ayurved Parishad or in Part-1 of the Central Registrar maintained by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.

B. MULTIPURPOSE WORKERS (ANMl

'18 (eighten) Posts (5 reserved for S.C. 1 reserved for S.T., 2-reserved for aBC Category-A &"1 for aBC Category-B) Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay ((initial pay of the pay band of Rs.5400-25,250/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2600/-) plus dearness allowances, H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement,

Qualification :-

A) Essential - Passed Madhyamik from a recognized Board/Parishad and passed ANM (R) course from an Institution recognized by the West Bengal Nursing Councilor its equivalent. The candidate must be registered with West Bengal Nursing Councilor any other State/Central Nursing Council.

b) Knowledge of Bengali-spoken and reading.

Desirable:- Knowledge in MS Office in Computer.

Age :- Above 21 years as on 1st January 2011 subject to the condition that a candidate shall not be engaged in the post after attaining the age of 62 years.

C. AYURVEDIC PHARMACIST:-

18 (eighteen) Posts (5 reserved for S.C., 1 reserved for S.T., 2 reserved for OBC Category-A & 1 for Category-B) Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs.5,400- 25,250/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2600/-) plus dearness allowances, H.R.A. and M.A. on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.

Qualification :-

a) Essential : Passed Madhyamik from a recognized Board/Parishad and 2 years Certificate Course of Ayurvedic Pharmacy conducted by Govt. recognized Institute.

b) Knowledge of Bengali-spoken and reading.

Desirable : Knowledge in MS Office in Computer.

Age:- Not more than 37 years as on 1st January, 2011, relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as admissible.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS:

Last Date: Application should be sent to the office of the Director of Ayurveda, Swasthya Bhawan, 6th floor, GN-29, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700 091 by registered posts in such way that it reaches the office of the Director of Ayurveda positively by 15th February, 2011. The application sent in any other manner or received after 15th February, 2011 will not be considered.

(2) CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF AYURVEDIC DOCTORS. NURSESCGNMl AND PHYSIOTHERAPIST FOR AYURVEDIC WING FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR.

AVURVEDIC WING :

Application in the proforma given below are invited from the Indian Citizen, eligible for the post of Ayurvedic Doctor and Nurse ( GNM) for Ayurvedic Wing (Panchakarma & Ksharsutra Unit) established at the Allopathic Hospital of the different districts.

A. AYURVEDIC DOCTOR:

6( Six) Posts [1 reserved for S.C and 1 reserved for S.T candidates].

Contractual remuneration will be the Basic Pay ( Initial pay of the pay band of Rs.9000-40,500/- plus Gr. Pay-Rs. 5400/-) plus dearness allowances, H.R.A and M.A on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.

Oualification :-

Essential- i) A five years degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University established by law or a statutory Board or Examining body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

ii) Knowledge of Bengali spoken and reading.

Desirable :- a) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Panchakarma or in Kayachikitsa for Panchakarma Unit or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Salyatantra for Ksharsutra Unit. b) Knowledge in MS Office in Computer

Age: Not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2011 relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as admissible.

B. Nurse (GNM):

16(Sixteen) posts [4 reserved for S.C., t-reserved for S.T and 2 reserved for OBC Category-A & 1 for Category-B). Contractual remuneration will be the Basic Pay ( Initial pay of the pay band 3 of Rs.7001-37,600/- plus Gr. Pay-Rs. 3,600/-) plus dearness allowances, H.R.A and M.A on the said basic pay per month during the period of engagement.

Qualification :-

Essential- a) Passed Higher Secondary from a recognized Council and passed GNM course from an institution recognized by the West Bengal Nursing Councilor its equivalent. The candidate must be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Councilor any other State/Central Nursing Council.

b) Knowledge of Bengali spoken and reading

Desirable: Knowledge in MS Office in Computer.

Age :- Above 21 years as on 1st January 2011 subject to the condition that a candidate shall not be engaged In the post after attaining the age of 62 years.

c) PHYSIOTHERAPIST (2 POSTS):

2(two) Posts (1 reserved for S.T), Contractual remuneration will be the basic pay (initial pay of the pay band of Rs.5,400-25,250/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.2600/-) plus dearness allowances, H.R.A. and M.A. on the said baste pay per month during the period of engagement.

Qualification :-

a) Essential : Passed Higher Secondary in science subjects from a recognized Board and Degree/ Diploma in Bachelor of Physiotherapist from a recognized Institute with minimum 6 months' experience in handling allied related instruments.

b) Knowledge of Bengali-spoken and reading.

Desirable : Knowledge in Yoga exposed to higher course.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION :

1. The words "Application for the post of for the Speciality Clinic/Wing should be written on the front side of the envelop containing the application.

2. Duly attested copies of certificates issued by the Appropriate Authority in respect of age, caste, qualification, experience and knowledge in Computer if any should be enclosed with the application. All original testimonials should be brought by the candidates for verification by the authority during Interview.

3. The Selection Committee reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates to be called for oral interview to 1:4for any or all the posts if necessary for administrative convenience. In doing so, the candidates scoring less marks on the basis of qualification and experience will be left out.

4. Selection wHl be made on the basis of marks scored by the candidates out of 100 marks (out of ·which 90 marks allotted for academic qualifications marks and experience and 10 marks on oral Interview).

5. Place of posting at Speciality Clinic/Wing will be finalized after counseling on the basis of merit and the available vacancy.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending, the interview or Counseling.

7. The date of oral interview will be notified only in the website of this Department (www.wbhealth.gov.in) in due course. Letter for interview will have to be collected from the office of the Director of Ayurveda personally by the candidate.
