Stag Medical, Kuala Lumpur‐based specialists in Laboratory Automation and diagnostic products, has been
appointed exclusive distributors throughout Malaysia for the CLINAXYS® II Laboratory Information Management
Systems (LIMS).

After a comprehensive search throughout Malaysia for a

quality business partner, Clinical Systems Ltd appointed
Stag Medical in July 2010.

Stag Medical has been serving the Malaysian diagnostic

community since 2004 and has partnerships with world‐
class companies including Furuno Electric (high
performance medical, analytical and electronic devices);
SFRI Sarl Chema Diagnostica (reagents); Centronic‐Gmbh
(reagents); and Apel Co (meters). These alliances enable it
to provide comprehensive solutions for laboratory
automation in both hospital and clinic environments.

Clinical Systems has tailored CLINAXYS® II to meet the

needs of small and medium laboratories in Malaysia.
Enhancements to the core system have been made in the
areas of reception, result query and reporting to ensure
efficient data entry. Identification Card Numbers are used
to reduce the re‐keying of demographic information, and
the system automatically calculates every patient's gender
and age.
The system interfaces with Furuno high performance
instruments including clinical chemistry analysers, and
other automated laboratory instrumentation.
Results from the instruments are stored in the CLINAXYS®
II database, output using a comprehensive reporting suite,
and can be combined with similar data from other
laboratories in the same region to provide consultants
with long‐term access to patient data over the Internet.
