Considering Structure

Many novels have events that give us a clue to events nearer the end of the novel. Commenting on structure in the
exam will raise your grade, so look for these. An example would be how the shooting of Candy’s dog in ‘Of Mice and
men’ foreshadows Lennie’s death at the end of the novel. Use the boxes below to explore the relationship between the
