 2009: The changes in expectancy beliefs and task values in the domain of Second Language
Acquisition
Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of tutoring method in
achievement motivation in a blended learning environment of foreign language.
The research goal is twofold: a) to understand the changes in expectancy beliefs and task values
in the domain of teaching foreign languages and b) to study the impact of the tutor and the
peers on intrinsic motivation for learning and upon the perceived value of the task. This
qualitative research consists of three studies conducted with 9 classrooms studying French.

 2008: Teaching lexical units of affection in class of Language
Abstract: This research relates to teaching lexical units of affection in class of Foreign
Language. Its aim is to determine the kinds of linguistic knowledge that may be used in
the classroom and how the lexicon may be taught. In the pursuit of this objective, we
selected the Applied Linguistic Approach based on morphology, semantics and culture.
This study has been completed with the lexical approach based on explanatory
combinatorial lexicography and its research tools with a direct result in the
improvement of language acquisition in a more structured and thorough way.
