IGNOU December-TEE results on February 14

“The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be declaring the
results of the December 2010 Term End Examination (TEE) on February 14, 2011.
This action has been taken due to an ordinance which was passed for TEE results
according to which they are to be declared within 45 days of the completion of the
examination. The results can be accessed from the ‘Student Zone’ section of the
IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in ,” said Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice
Chancellor, IGNOU.

The university has today made it mandatory, with immediate effect, the
submission of assignments for issue of hall tickets. “All the IGNOU students are
required to ensure their validity of registration and submission of assignments for
the courses for which they intend to appear in the TEE. They are also required to
get their exam forms authenticated from their study centres/ programme study
centres/special study centres/ recognized study centres/ partner
institutions/community colleges/ convergence centres/ programme coordinators, etc
to this effect and submit the same at their respective regional centres,” said Prof.
Pushplata Tripathi, Registrar, Student Evaluation Division (SED), IGNOU .

The university had decentralised the evaluation work to different evaluation


centres established in different parts of the country. Different measures are being
taken in this regard to gear up the system in this direction. The university has
decided to extend the scheme of Spot Evaluation to the evaluation centers in Delhi,
Lucknow,Patna, Pune, Chennai, Guwahati and Kolkata. The spot evaluation of the
answer scripts at the evaluation centres is being monitored by the examination
committee/ standing committee on evaluation in order to ensure the declaration of
TEE results within the stipulated time limit.
