8 hour shawl

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn
Crochet needle 4,5mm

This shawl is crocheted in one piece. It is

very easy and fast to make, so it’s also
suitable for the beginning crocheter. After a
few rows you will get the construction and
won’t need the pattern any more.

Body:
Start with a magic ring
Row 1: ch3, 2dc, ch2, 3dc in ring
Row 2: ch3, turn, 2dc in first dc, ch1, 3dc in next sp, ch2, 3dc in same sp, ch1, 3dc in 3rd ch of first ch of precious row
Row 3: ch3, turn, 2dc in first dc, ch1, 3dc in next sp, ch1, 3dc in next sp, ch2, 3dc in same sp, ch1, 3dc in next sp, ch1, 3dc
in 3rd ch of first ch of precious row
Row 4 to 27: Ch3 turn, 2dc in first dc, ch1, *3dc, ch1 in next sp* repeat until you reach center space, 3dc, ch2, 3dc in
center sp, *ch1, 3dc in next sp* repeat until end, last 3 dc in third chain of previous row.

Edging:
Row 1: single crochet around shawl. (For the shorter side you can easily sc in every dc, for the long side I did 3 sc’s in
every dc.)
Row 2: 2sc in every sc.

Cast off and weave in ends.

Sp = space
ch = chain =
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
