WHEREAS: UNI GCRE has requested provisional recognition; and

WHEREAS: The Organization and Finance Committee finds the group acceptable
according to its by-laws; and

WHEREAS: UNI GCRE strives to provide valuable service to the victims of hurricanes Katrina
and Rita; and

WHEREAS: UNI GCRE also provides students currently enrolled at UNI an

opportunity to obtain personal growth and enrich their own lives while lending assistance and
rebuilding the Gulf Coast region; and

RECOGNIZING: UNI GCRE and its activities are open to any UNI student.

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED: UNI GCRE be granted provisional recognition.
