available to user.

- User can examine,evaluate and adapt the source code.

- The term „Open Source Software“ was created in 1998 as


a new label for Free Software.

- The idea behind is: Software or algorithms in general are


knowledge and knowledge should be free for everyone.

- Availability of source code

- Integrity of authors source code

- Distribution of license

– Apache or PHP

Its freedoms refers to :

- Free to use for any purpose
