    PUBLIC NOTICE

    CORRECTION TO TAX INSTRUCTION SHEETS

    The Authority wishes to advise all taxpayers that tax packages for the income year ending
    31 December 2010 have been posted to the last mailing address provided to the
    Authority.

    The instruction sheets sent with the forms incorrectly show the resident tax rates for
    2009.

    Please note that the correct tax rate for 2010 which was effective from 01 January 2010 is
    as follows:

    2010 TAX RATES

    Rates of Income Tax – Resident Individuals

    Chargeable income ($) Tax payable


    1. 0 – 15,000 Nil
    2. 15001 – 15,600 25% of excess over $15,000
    3. 15601 – 22,000 150 + 31% of excess over $15,600
    4. 22,001 and above 2134 + 31% of excess over $22,000
