Note:
This is a joint program of Local Health Governance Strengthening Program (LHGSP) and
Health Facility Management Support Program ( HMSP). Earlier one is being piloted in Dang
and Surkhet districts in support of NFHP II. Dang has completed VDC selection process and
we are orienting the LHGSP concept to DDC and DPHO supervisors who will help local
management committees to implement the program.

The second component is capacity enhancement program for the local Health facility
Management and Operation Committees in 9 districts in Midwestern Development Region.
Through interaction with committees members we can feel how they take the program and
how best we can expect improvement in overall health facility management by involving
weaker section of community members in decision making process and improve services
through social inclusions and meeting the unmet need of the community people specially
vulnerable.
