Birmingham City - Five subjects at a Grade C or above. This includes
English language
Portsmouth - You need 240-300 points which includes a minimum of
240 points from A-Levels or equivalent, with 100 points from an A-Level
in an Art and Design subject. Other ones can be Foundation Art and
Design or National Diploma in Art and Design. Every applicant is subject
to an interview and a portfolio is essential.
Leeds – 5 Grades at least C or above including English Language.
A-Level BA
Bournemouth – You need 4 GCSE’s ranging between A* to C including
English and Maths or equivalent Key Skills Level 2
Southampton – A-Levels, AAB, IB:34 Point and 17 at Higher Level

.Any animator which consider a career in a game production needs to
understand the interactive nature of games and have an overall grasp of
all aspects of discipline. This includes character modelling, skinning,
rigging, kinematics and basic cinematography.

The type of things an Animator should be interested in should be:

Money: Animators get paid a lot of money for the drawings they produce
which can interest them.
Video Games: You will need an interest for video games seeing as you will
be drawing characters and settings for a game.
Art: You will need to be inspired by Art and also be artistic and creative.
Being Part Of A Team: This can interest an Animator because some people
like working in teams as they may work better. Other people in your team can
help you out if you get stuck anywhere.
Being On A Computer: This can also interest an Animator because you will
be making characters and settings on a computer and its easy to edit things
on a computer.
