BMW announces end of M6 production

Its official, BMW has ceased the production of M6. That would also mean the end of its
muscular V10 engine, the heart of the car.

BMW confirmed that it will discontinue both the M6 coupe and convertible. BMW M6
concept made its debut at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. The uniquely styled GT cars
gained prominence in the US with its incredible speed, power and acceleration. BMW

racetrack or on highway. In the 2010 model year, the M6 was one of the most
expensive BMW sold in the U.S. Ever since the production of the M6 started, the
company managed to sell 14,152 of the cars. A total of 3,528 of the hardtops and 3,247
convertibles sold on American soil.
