• Teens have an excessive amount of
hormones, which sometimes gives them
sexual feelings.
• Symptoms of these feelings include
being hot and flushed, your heart beats
faster, and you have butterflies in your
stomach.
• You can’t control these feelings.
 Teens Having Sex
• There are many risks in having sex as a
teenager.
• Some of these include getting STD’s.
• You can also have an unwanted pregnancy.
• If you get impregnated, your life will change
forever.
 Teenage Pregnancy
• Most teenage parents never finish school,
and almost never make it to college.
• Young parents also struggle to get by
financially, which is very unbeneficial
because babies cost a lot of money.

• 95% are unintentional.
• You should get tested and not
deny what’s happening if you
believe you are impregnated.
 Dangers
• It can be very dangerous to have a baby
when you’re young.
• If you’re body isn’t mature enough your baby
can be born with birth defects, and it could
also harm your body.
• From getting pregnant young, you also can
get a bad reputation and have trouble getting
dates or finding meaningful relationships.
Why Do Teens have Sex?
•Peer Pressure is the
main cause of sex in teens’ lives.
• Girls have sex to feel special, while
boys have sex to feel tough and
manly.
• Both like the attention and touching.
How can you prevent it?

• Contraceptives are
birth control devices.
• None of them are
100% preventable, so
you should practice
Abstinence.
