Complete 2-D Drawing

1. Lab Objectives
a) To produce cross-sectional drawing of an object
b) To produce a complete 2-D drawing of a given object

2. Lab Tasks
Step 1: Follow lab demonstration to produce the following cross-sectional views of the
given object.

Step 2: Follow lab demonstration to produce the complete 2-D drawing and the cross-
sectional views of the following object.

3. Lab Assignment
(a) Produce the complete 2-D drawing of the following objects. Also produce the cross-section
drawing through the cutting plane Y-Y. Make use of proper dimensioning rules.

Total Marks – 25 (PO9, PO14)

(b) Draw a complete 2-D drawing and produce appropriate cross-section drawing to highlight
the features of the object using of proper dimensioning rules.

Total Marks – 25 (PO9, PO14)

(c) Draw a complete 2-D drawing and produce appropriate cross-section drawing to highlight
the features of the object. Each box is 1mm x 1mm. Make use of proper dimensioning
rules.
 Total Marks – 50 (PO9, PO14)

Submit your drawings (to be prepared in appropriate format) during class on 30/3/2011.
Late submission will be subject to a penalty in your marks.
