Philsquare News

Philsquare is proud to announce its new series of workshops beginning this month. The workshops in March
are focused on WordPress including both a basics and extended class.

WordPress is a complex web application with thousands of themes and plugins allowing users a highly
customizable website. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. Without some web development background or
endless hours available to learn it yourself, we have found WordPress is not an easy application for typical
users to delve into. It is a great resource we think can be valuable to many individuals and businesses which is
why we are offering these workshops.

WordPress Basics, March 21 & April 11th, 7-9pm. By attending the WordPress Basics workshop, you will learn
how to set up and maintain websites using WordPress.

Extending WordPress, March 23 & April 13th, 7-9pm. During the Extending WordPress workshop, the follow
up to our WordPress Basics, attendees will learn how install themes, modify pages, apply plugins and widgets
to get the most out of your website.

Customizing WordPress, April 9th, 1-3pm. In this workshop, you will learn how to dig inside the
WordPress(WP) code and change the overall style and look of your selected themes.

HTML & CSS Basics, April 9th, 1-5pm. Websites can be a large part of building company business and can be
vital to online marketing, communications and customer relations. HTML and CSS are the building blocks of
web development and the focus of this 4-hour class.

Early registration price is $45 for the WordPress workshops and $80 for all others. After early registration, the
Wordpress and HTML workshops are $55 and $95, respectively (registration available until an hour before
the workshop begins or until seats are full). We know some of you were not able to attend the sessions we
had last month so we home you can make these. Please share these educational opportunities with your
friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, twitter followers and strangers on the street. As always, please contact
us with questions! hello@philsquare.com For more details about each workshop and to enroll, visit
