One-hundred words… “Impossible,” you say. “Nay,” I reply. Skills
are required: patience, discipline, knowledge, creativity. Easy tasks never were friends of mine. “Give me a challenge,” is my distressed cry. Hours stolen from leisurely relaxation; consumed instead with endless subject shifting, vocabulary scavenging, preposition replacing toils. Once, twice, thrice. “Third time’s the charm,” so it goes. Let us only hope. Tired yet? Don’t be. We’re over halfway through this solicitous commission. Sunshine beamed across glass panes at our beginning, now different light passes in. Blue, silver, and white, but still bright. Light-hearted laughter has been replaced by deep-breathing. Sleep overtakes body, mind… I’m gone.
